New Hope Attleboro MA

We envision people living safely in strong, healthy families.

At New Hope, we work to end domestic and sexual violence by helping people live safer lives.

  • Safer for anyone victimized by family and relationship violence.
  • Safer for adults and children who have survived rape, incest, and other sexual assaults - as well as their significant others - all coping with the emotional aftermath.
  • Safer for the partners and children of abusive men who learn new, non-violent ways of interacting with others and become accountable for their own behavior.

Through continuous evaluation and constant improvement, our staff and volunteers strive to fulfill our commitment to our mission of working to strengthen individuals and families by ending domestic and sexual violence. Read more about our work.

Talk...It Can Save Someone's Life

In Response to the soaring numbers of domestic violence homicides in Massachusetts, Jane Doe, Inc. - the Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence - created a public service announcement (PSA) featureing First Lady of the Commonwealth Diane Patrick. The PSA has been running on television and radio stations since October 2008 and has been running in movie theaters across Massachusetts since May 29.

"I know what it feels like to be isolated and alone. And I know that the first step to help someone who feels unsafe in a relationship is to talk about it" ~Diane Patrick

Daily headlines of domestic violence, rape, stalking and related murders make clear the prevalence and pervasiveness of these crims. that means there are too many of our family members, friends, coworkers or patients who are living in dear because of a current or past relationship.

Domestic violence programs, like New Hope, Inc., are here to help.We can answer your questions, offer a range of free and confidential services and help you figure out what's right for you or someone you care about.

It's really normal to sweep these concerns aside, hope that the fear will pass and believe it can't get worse.

Trust your gut. Talk to someone who can help.

24-hours a day, you can pick up the phone and call New Hope's hotline at 1-800-323-HOPE (4673).

For more information about this PSA, please visit the "Talk...It could save someone's life" website.
