Security/Admin Personnel-Worcester Office
New Hope Inc. is seeking a security/admin employee for the MJ Leadenham Center. This position provides safety & security for the center. The position will prioritize all safety & security concerns for the center and will be present to ensure that unauthorized persons will not be allowed into the Center. The ideal candidate will promote an environment that feels safe for clients and staff. This position is part-time at 17 hours per week; shifts are Thursday and Friday evenings from 3:30-8:30pm and Saturday from 8:30am-3:30pm and as needed.
This position requires knowledge of domestic violence issues, excellent communication and administrative skills as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience working with security equipment/wands required.
Housing Advocate Taunton/Attleboro Area
Full-time (35 hours/week, benefit eligible) and will work with clients in our Residential and Community Programs to transition from emergency shelter to permanent housing through the use of supportive casework, community collaboration building, administrative duties and emotional support. Experience working with housing advocacy, homelessness services, substance abuse issues and/or domestic violence / sexual assault survivors preferred. BA/BS preferred. Bilingual individuals preferred.
Overnight/Relief Advocate; New Hope Emergency Shelter
New Hope is currently seeking a qualified individual for Overnight/Relief Advocate position in our Southeast and/or Central, MA Domestic Violence Shelter. Responsibilities include providing support to residents, keeping detailed case notes, covering open shifts when available, responding to the basic living needs of residents and communicating those needs to staff, and answering a 24-hour hotline. All qualified candidates, including minorities and survivors of domestic/sexual violence, are encouraged to apply.
