Domestic Violence Services 

The Domestic Violence Services provide comprehensive help to survivors of domestic violence.

Services include a 24-hour crisis and support hotline, two emergency shelters, safety planning, legal advocacy, and help obtaining court orders, support groups, individual counseling, advocacy in the Attleboro Police Station, and community education.

  • SAFEPLAN Legal Advocacy
  • Safety Planning
  • Civilian Advocate Program at the Attleboro Police Station

Community Support Services:

New Hope provides financial assistance for victims of domestic violence up to a total maximum amount of $1,000.00 per individual during the fiscal year. Our assistance is of a one-time only payment and is not on-going.

Assistance is provided to pay for the following:

  • Past due utilities (i.e. electric, gas, telephone (land line only), and water)
  • Past due rent
  • Past due auto insurance and registration fee
  • Assistance with first and last month's rent if the victim is seeking to relocate - assistance is subject to affordability by the applicant.
  • Moving expenses for relocation

*All bills must be in the name of the victim.*

Interested parties must complete an application and an intake form must be completed with a New Hope staff member.
