About New Hope

At New Hope, we work to end domestic violence by helping people live safer lives.

  • Safer for anyone victimized by family and relationship violence.
  • Safer for adults and children who have survived rape, incest, and other sexual assaults - as well as their significant others - all coping with the emotional aftermath.
  • Safer for the partners and children of an abusive parent who learn new, non-violent ways of interacting with others and become accountable for their own behavior.

We also work to make our community stronger by helping families become stronger.

  • Stronger by helping mothers and fathers develop healthier, more effective parenting skills.
  • Stronger by helping all family members maintain the support structures that help meet their emotional needs and ensure the well-being of children.
  • Stronger by helping children develop their own special strengths and capabilities, building self-esteem with each new accomplishment.

We are a non-profit human service agency with over 30 years of experience in assisting people in crisis and delivering innovative quality service.

Our efforts are made possible by funding from government contracts, the United Way, donations from business, civic, and church groups, as well as the generosity of individuals - both as donors and as volunteers.

Through continuous evaluation and constant improvement, we strive to fulfill our commitment and our mission.
