New Hope's Gourmet Guys Event

Friday, November 19th, 2010

Gourmet Guys is one of our most highly anticipated events of the year! This event provides an opportunity for men in our community to take a stand against domestic violence and sexual assault by donating their time, their energy, and their culinary talents!

Over 60 local "Gourmet Guys" come together and each prepare their specialty dish. Guys do not need to be professional chefs - although a few professionals do participate. At the event, our "Gourmet Guys" serve their food to friends, family and other members of the community.

While not munching away on these delectable delicacies, guests may peruse the wide variety of raffle baskets, play heads or tails or just spend some quality time getting to know other members of our community who support New Hope.

Our "chefs" are asked to prepare a dish - appetizer, entree, or dessert - with enough for 50 servings. You prepare the food at home and then bring it with you the night of the event.

Chefs are also asked to provide us with a copy of their recipes to be included in a Gourmet Guy Recipe Book to be sold at the event. This, however, is optional.
